Red Express
Sample A random digit dial method is used to ensure ex-directory households are included, and sample is drawn to ensure that it is 100% regionally representative. RED C are also one of the first research companies in the world to change their sampling approach in order to take account of the growing number of people who only have a mobile phone. Half of our sample is now conducted through calls to mobile numbers, again using an RDD approach. This ensures that our sample reaches 98% of all adults in the population, including those people who only have a mobile, those who only have a landline and those who have both. In terms of the classification data available the RED Express has as standard age, sex, social class, working status, marital status, urban/rural, no. of dependant children, nationality and basic voting intention at no additional cost. Data can therefore be run by any of these sub groups.
Quality
Quotas are set and weighting used to ensure that the data is nationally representative in terms of sex, age, social class and region. Our breakdown of age within gender is based on the latest census data. Timing Costs
RED C will be able to finalise costs with you once we have sat down and designed the final questions to add to the RED Express. We can also offer some form of discount for questions only asked of minority groups, and for multiple inclusions.
