Young people in Ireland most affected by environmental problems

The latest research on sustainability from RED C shows that 70% of people aged 18-24 in Ireland believe environmental problems are having a direct effect on their lives today. On the upside, 71% of all Irish adults aged 18+ feel there is still time to reverse the effects of global climate change and 78% agree their personal actions can improve the environment.

But people are looking to both Government and retailers, especially supermarkets and grocery retailers, to do more to support a sustainable way of living.
